A New Year, A New Look, and A New Trip!

As you can see, I have changed up the look of my blog a little bit, unless you are just now joining in on my adventures…then, welcome!

I just figured this place needed a bit of housekeeping before I announced that I would be returning to writing here starting in May when I go to *drumroll please*….. KENYA!

Yup, that’s right folks. I’m off to Africa! The latter half of May I will be staying with a friend and her family in Nairobi where I will spend my time on a safari, exploring the capital city, hiking up Menengai Crater, visiting baby elephants at the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, maybe even a beach trip!

I am incredibly stoked for this trip, and thankful that Zaneta is willing to have me along and show me her home outside of Uni in Los Angeles! In the mean time, I will continue to work my day job and save up!
